I'm sorry I really want to make this elf but don't understand the directions are the head body and legs made altogether guess I'm not as experienced as you and I mean that as a compliment could you clarify for me please
Of course. I am away at the moment but when I’m home on Monday I’ll make another and take some pictures if that would help?
The legs are made first then it continues up to the body and head as one piece. Make one leg first and finish off as usual. Then make the second leg and continue on with the pattern.
I've just had a quick read and from what I can tell you make both legs separately first. Then join them as you create the body and then onto the head. I'm planning on making one of the myself so if you need any extra help I can try advise the best I can.
Hi, assume you put the eyes on at the blank step #43? Do you know approximately which round?
Fun, fast pattern! I made this cute elf in under two hours. Thanks for the free pattern.
Checking if there are further tips on this pattern. I have not crocheted in years so hoping I can manage it.
Make the second leg first, finish off. Make the first leg, ch 1 and continue around with adding the second leg to the round and continue around. After attaching the leg, count the stitches, add or decrease to equal 20. Google how to attach legs. Hope this helps.
